"Gregg, you're such an awesome weaver of fiction "true crime", it almost makes me worry about you and the fact that I know you just a little :) Good job on this one! I kept forgetting that I wasn't reading a true crime work, and it's always nice reading a story set in my own backyard."

" Meh. Thriller about a couple who commit heinous rapes and murders. Not my cuppa. But I got it for free from Danyell, who got it for free from my father, so it's OK - you get what you pay for . . . :) "
— Colin, 2/20/2014" This was a well plotted serail killer thriller. I felt the characters could have been better developed, especially the females. Contains descriptions of sexual violence. "
— Jack, 2/19/2014" Loved It. GReat characters, great suspense, great writer! "
— Chris, 2/18/2014" One of the best thriller, murder mysteries I've read in a while. "
— Marlu, 1/28/2014" Very average thriller "
— Steve, 1/27/2014" It was really difficult to review this book. Parts of it were really good but it was way too long. It really dragged in the middle. The biggest issue I had was the lack of detecting the police detectives did, it seemed like they sat back and worried about the situtation but never put together a task force, didn't compare the evidence. As the reader, you know who the killer is pretty quickly and who victim six is ultimately going to be. Some of the characters were well done but a few, not so much. I've read some of Mr. Olsen's other novels and enjoyed them more than this. Overall I give it 2 1/2 stars. "
— Melana, 1/18/2014" Very good book to read. You won't want to put it down. suspenseful through til the end "
— Rebekah, 1/18/2014" Pretty exciting! I haven't read a bad book by Gregg Olsen yet. "
— Jane, 1/1/2014" A little dark and creepy. Makes you want to stay home and not venture outside - but plenty of storyline and suspense. "
— Charlene, 12/31/2013" I really liked this book..It is out of my usual genre but i truly enjoyed it...I liked the way it kept my interest..Kind of gave me the creeps but I felt like I had to find out how they would catch the guy and girl...Very good read.... "
— Kathy, 12/20/2013" Pretty good. I think that it could've been a little better, but I did enjoy reading it. "
