" This book is SO good! It gets confusing, and then it tells you what's rteally going on. It keeps you waiting, and it has a good plot. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Linda | 1/24/2014

" a children's book so no wonder I find it a little simple, haha. But even when I was a child I think I would have wanted more substance. anyway, this is just the first of what appears to be a long series, I will skip it but maybe my granddaughter will enjoy this book. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Hayes | 1/10/2014

" Perfect adventure fantasy story for kids (9-12). Lots of fun: danger, ghosts, time travel--the works! "

" Lumayan bagus. Tapi terasa penggambaran karakter tokohnya masih kurang tajam. Bahasanya mudah mengerti, mungkin karena buat anak2 ya? "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Amy | 1/2/2014

" Flat characters, very predictable story line. I got halfway through the book and put it down. I have no attachment to the characters and do not care what happens to them. I guess that says it all. "

" This book was so good. I know that it was for little kids, but I really liked it a lot. The mystery (which we still aren't sure of at the end of this book) and adventure are interesting. It was a quick read (started it at breakfast and finished it by the time the kids went down for a nap). "

" It's a really cute book about a set of twins and their friend uncovering the mysteries of Argo Manor (a huge mansion on the side of a cliff & the twins new home). The book goes straight into the second without a resolution. It's the first of 3 books. "

" The 1st book was more intresting but it kept my attention the whole way. I havn't read the 3rd and I can't wait to get around to it. The second of trilogies are always hard though so I gave it a higher rating. To hold me to the series though the third one has to be better than this one. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Sri | 12/30/2010

" This is better than the first one.. but I thought the main characters (Jason, Julia and Rick) should be older, I don't think 11 years can do what they do (sorry kids..), Anyway can't wait to read the third book.. "
