But Britta’s other great love is for the violin, and her talent is recognized by Brenton Maltese, a conductor from England. The coveted first-chair position in his orchestra could be hers…but what is the cry of her heart? At a crossroads, Britta must determine what her heart truly longs for—and if she’s willing to fight for it.

"This last installment of the Song of Alaska series tells the story of Britta Lindquist. She has spent the past few years traveling and playing in an orchestra. She has just received a wonderful offer to be a part of a brand new orchestra, and a proposal of marriage. She is struggling to understand if this is really what she wants to do with her life, so she comes back home to Sitka, Alaska to think through her options and make her decision. Britta wants to know if she is finally over Yuri Belikov. But when she ends up caring for his two children not long after she has come home, she realizes quickly that her love for Yuri has never gone away. Will she be able to break down the walls Yuri has erected and will she be able to deal with the pain and heartache life throws her way?"

“The final book in Peterson’s Song of Alaska series ties up loose ends from the previous two books as the characters make hard decisions. The details describing Alaska paint a beautiful picture in the reader’s mind. Readers will keep this series on their keeper shelf.”
— RT Book Reviews (4 stars)" Easy read and very enjoyable. "
— Taralee, 1/21/2014" As always another excellent read of Tracie Peterson. "
— Jenn, 1/14/2014" I feel like this sped through a lot of plots, and another jumped in about 2/3 through. That's what I get for only reading book 3, I guess, even if the first two were about earlier generations! "
— Shelley, 1/4/2014" Starts out really good. The book goes bad after the couple finally get married and their marriage finally gets on its feet. The book just seems to ramble on and on after the marriage. "
— Ruslan, 12/29/2013" I enjoyed the entire "Song of Alaska" series! :) "
— Jenny, 11/23/2013" This is a really good book, however, there are bible versus throughout it as Tracie Peterson is known for. It gives you plenty to think about when you least expect it. "
— Cindy, 11/20/2013" This book was amazing. I loved how the story progressed with Britta and Yuri. I only wish there wasnt a gap at the end. I also wish there was another book to follow the Lindquist family .... maybe one day Tracie Peterson will write more! If you loved the other two you will adore this last book! "
— Heather, 11/7/2013" This entire series was spectacular! This was my first series to read by Tracie Peterson and I definitely can't wait to read more of her work! "
— Chelsea, 10/23/2013" Third in the Song of Alaska trilogy. I really liked this one, actually better than the second, and almost better than the first book. I wish there wasn't such a huge gap in between the books, but it was still very good and well written. "
— Shawnee, 6/9/2013" Felt a bit cliched for most of the book, but strangely towards the end, it actually got a bit better and actually quite enjoyed it. Nicely closed out the series. "
— Melissa, 11/13/2012" I got this book for Christmas (the 3rd and not the first because I love the violin), but I want to buy and read the first two before this one (duh, that makes sense), but I think this is my favorite book cover...ever, maybe. "
— Ashlee, 5/30/2012" I love anything by Tracie Peterson. Everything she writes is wonderful! Really enjoyed this book. "
— Jessica, 11/16/2011" Good right to the end. "
— Janet, 8/1/2011" Just okay, not great by any stretch of the mind. Dragged on and on, and at one point I lost the desire to finish it. "
— Kat, 7/25/2011" I've really enjoyed this series!! "
— Deeanna, 5/10/2011" I've enjoyed Tracie Peterson's series in the past, but this one, and this third book in particular, was just so-so. It was way too preachy, and the characters were all just a little too good to be true. I think I'll take a pass on this author in the future. "
— Karen, 5/10/2011" I loved this book. I had it read in less than a week. Sad though that series is over now. I hope Tracie Peterson will write more books in this series. "
— Sierra, 3/29/2011" Good right to the end. "
— Janet, 3/24/2011" Just okay, not great by any stretch of the mind. Dragged on and on, and at one point I lost the desire to finish it. "
— Katie, 1/17/2011" I feel like this sped through a lot of plots, and another jumped in about 2/3 through. That's what I get for only reading book 3, I guess, even if the first two were about earlier generations! "
