Alexia Tarabotti, Lady Maccon, has settled into domestic bliss. Of course, being Alexia, such bliss involves integrating werewolves into London High society, living in a vampire's second best closet, and coping with a precocious toddler who is prone to turning supernatural willy-nilly.
Until, that is, she receives a summons that cannot be ignored. With husband, child, and Tunstells in tow, Alexia boards a steamer to cross the Mediterranean. But Egypt may hold more mysteries than even the indomitable Lady Maccon can handle. What does the vampire Queen of the Alexandria Hive really want from her? Why is the God-Breaker Plague suddenly expanding? And how has Ivy Tunstell suddenly become the most popular actress in all the British Empire?
Timeless is the final book of the Parasol Protectorate series: a comedy of manners set in Victorian London, full of werewolves, vampires, dirigibles, and tea-drinking.

"As with all of the Parasol Protectorate series, Carriger meshes the timelessness of werewolves and vampires with Victorian values and steam punk oddities. The characters continue to progress through their relationships and trials and tribulations of being new parents, Alphas of a pack and forever suspects of the vampire hives. Alexia is a timeless character with her own take on the way things should be, while maintaining her Victorian values and proper etiquette. She is delightful, as is everyone that she comes in contact with. Special note that the narrator of these books is fabulaous, able to portray personality in each of the characters voices. Kudos!"

“The world of Timeless is a unique recipe of steampunk and fantasy spiced with light sprinkling of romance. Its setting is rich for characters to romp about in, but the unbridled playfulness of the language and dialogue shines brightest.”
— Miami Herald“The fifth and final book in Carriger’s Parasol Protectorate series delivers what readers have come to expect: witty style paired with globe-spanning Victorian derring-do. The book elevates itself above prior entries in the series by neatly knitting plot threads together and manages to contain a surprise or two.”

— Miami Herald on Timeless" Awesome... Egypt, Steampunk and Vampires... do you need anything more? :-D! "
— Mirva, 2/10/2014" Witty and amusing, as always...but Lady Maccon is starting to bore me a little. I'm relieved this author knew when to quit. "
— Stacy, 2/10/2014" A fine ending to a skillfully written, elegant series. I found the mystery engrossing (I didn't figure out most of the elements) and the characters and situations variously amusing and moving. "
— Beth, 2/9/2014" I loved this series and hated to see it end. This final installment was great. "
— Veronica, 2/3/2014" What an excellent end to a fantastic series! "
— Leigh, 2/2/2014" Who knew that Biffy had it in him! was the main surprise of the book for me. Otherwise, sure? If you liked the series and weren't put off by book 3, I don't see why you wouldn't read this book. "
— Natalie, 1/19/2014" I am going to miss this series. The last book wrapped everything up nicely though. "
— Charles, 12/17/2013" Great series! The author left this one wide open at the end. I hope she decides to go for a 6th book. "
— Christa, 11/25/2013" Finished the series. I really liked them! "
— Mike, 7/30/2013" it's sad that the worst book of the series was the final installment. but at least it wasn't horrible and completely different from how the series started off. I liked the last few curveballs that were thrown into the story but it does leave a feeling that the series isn't complete. "
— Tracey, 4/1/2013" It was about like the others. A bit silly, but I liked them enough to read all four. They are kind of a guilty pleasure. "
— Denise, 12/22/2012" I cried. I laughed. I couldn't put it down. The end of this leaves just enough questions and solves some of the major plot points in the series. I loved it. I can only ever hope to be as good a writer as Ms. Carriger. "
— Katy, 10/12/2012" Audiobook narrated by Emily Gray. Narration 5 *. Story 3 *. There were laugh out loud moments in the book but it just wasn't as good as the others. "
— Vic, 6/24/2012" I enjoyed this book as much as all of the others in the Parasol Protectorate series. Ms. Carriger brings steampunk alive. "
