The End Series by New York Times bestselling author Tim LaHaye and Craig Parshall is an epic thrill ride ripped from today’s headlines and filtered through Scriptural prophecy. As world events begin setting the stage for the “end of days” foretold in Revelation, Joshua Jordan must weigh the personal price he must pay to save the nation he loves. Thunder of Heaven appeals to the tens of millions of readers who have already made Tim LaHaye a household name and one of the best selling authors of all time. This book is a return to form for Tim LaHaye whose previous prophetic fiction series, Left Behind, has sold roughly 70 million copies. Those who have read Left Behind and are eager for more highly charged fiction based on biblical prophesies will embrace Thunder of Heaven for the same reasons that turned Left Behind into the world’s most celebrated publishing phenomenons of the last two decades.

"The first one was amazing...but doesn't even come close to how intense and awesome this one is. This one starts out kind of "ehhh...I've read this before" but then shocks the reader and wakes them up. I won't give away any spoilers...but have to say this is the best Christian action read I've ever read. I personally didn't think the authors had it in them, but was pleasantly surprised. It ended with me throwing my Kindle down on my bed upset wanting more right away! NOOOOOOOO!!!! I have to wait a year for the next one!!!!! WHY GOD WHY???!!! Seriously...that's what was going through my head. I'm not nutty I promise. Even if you're not a Christian...read this. Maybe it will wake you up to believing. The next book is number two most wanted book this summer for me."

— Wayne, 12/4/2013" Not a book for a liberal. Written for conservative christians. "
— Matt, 11/14/2013" almost abandoned at about 80+% because of some very unrealistic conflict and political scenarios, but the faith, family and human aspirations part kept me going. clearly, the author has something to offer but has not yet mastered it like T. Davis Bunn and similar authors "
— Tulsi, 11/9/2013" Excellent book very entertaining, action packed! It's a biblical end times novel but with very current events woven into the story to make it very entertaining. "
— Daniel, 10/24/2013" Fast-paced, with information on current events and Biblical prophecy. Yes, this is fiction but a similar scenario could play out in the near future. Read Edge of Apocalypse first so you know what's happened. "
— Sally, 2/2/2013" I thought the first book was a little better. Found myself lost in some spots and had to re-read to understand what was going on. "
— Becky, 1/15/2013" Best book of the trilogy "
— Cliff, 12/6/2012" Yet another take on end times prophecy. Obviously, since this is book 2, you need to read the other one first, but can't wait for book 3 this fall. "
— Sheldon, 10/10/2012" Very much like Joel Rosenberg's books - easy to read. "
— Teresa, 10/7/2012" Outstanding book. I couldn't put it down, and was excitedly waiting for the sequel. Great anticipation of the issues facing Christians in the world today. Story lines follow headlines. An exciting look into a possible near term reality. "
— Deon, 5/30/2012" Compared to the first outing, this sequel ups the ante with more action, increased intensity, and a cliffhanger ending. If you liked Edge of Apocalypse, chances are you will love this one. "
— Siobhan, 2/13/2012" Very well written and fast paced. "
— Van, 11/27/2011" I enjoyed it...just a little too right-wing paranoia for me, though. "
