Even Hollywood's biggest stars face the same dilemma as other parents do: "How do I get my child to sleep?" As parents in the know are finding, whether they're on the red carpet or the soccer field, the answer is the same: The Sleepeasy Solution.
Psychotherapists and sleep specialists Jennifer and Jill, the dynamic "girlfriends" all of Hollywood calls on to solve Junior's sleep problems, have perfected their sleep technique that will get any child snoozing in no time—most often in fewer than three nights. The key to their method? It addresses the emotional needs of both the parent and the child (yes, how to handle the crying!)—a critical component of why most other sleep methods fail.
In this much-needed, family-friendly guide, weary parents will learn to define their own individual sleep goals, those that work for their family's schedule and style. They'll create a customized "sleep planner" to ensure consistency with both parents as well as extended caregivers. (As an added bonus, they'll even improve the listeners' relationships with their spouses with the "marriage-saver" section.) With comprehensive sections devoted to each stage of Baby's and Toddler's development, plus solutions to special circumstances like traveling, daylight savings time, moving to a "big kid bed," and multiples, The Sleepeasy Solution is a dream come true!

"Oh this has been a godsend. Seriously. Now, we had been putting Fisher down awake since like day 1, so it wasn't the putting himself to sleep that was a problem, it was the 2-3 wake-ups that he got himself into the habit of, around 11 weeks. So around 5 months, we got this book, learned how to night-wean (something I was deathly afraid of with Alla - surely night weaning would cause her to completely wean, right? nope.), and it went like clockwork, on the 6th night he slept thru, and was a great sleeper even on vacation recently. This is all COMPLETELY different than with Alla. Again, the only part we had to work on was the night-weaning, he already knew how to put himself to sleep."

— Conan O’Brien“Sleepeasy gave us all the tools we needed to get our baby sleeping through the night. Now when we say good night to our daughter, we know it really will be a good night.”
— Greg Kinnear" Not significantly different than other sleep books I've read that involve varying degrees of crying, but I prefer this book for its friendly, non-judgmental tone, and the very detailed step-by-step instructions that answered every question I had. Crossing my fingers it works. Will update my review (and stars) after trying the program. "
— Robin, 2/9/2014" Great book. Wish I'd read it sooner and with all of my other kids! Has helped us so much!! Must read for parents. They are very thoughtful and see the child and the parents as having needs and the importance of taking care of both! "
— Erin, 2/5/2014" Basically this book has saved my life. Maggie has slept through the night 3 nights in a row. And she didn't cry when she went down for her nap today. Worth its weight in gold. "

— Ryannhennis, 1/13/2014" Great! Loved the simple and easy solutions presented in this book. Was looking for specific solutions on how to wean infant from night feedings. Really only read that section of the book. Did not focus too much on the rest of the book. "
— Sara, 1/8/2014" This book is a lifesaver! My husband and I read this when our daughter was almost 18 months old and we were rocking her to sleep every night for at least 30 minutes. After using the methods in this book, we put her to bed and naps wide awake, singing, and happy! She is the best sleeper now. "

— Launi, 4/19/2012" Schedules, schedules and more schedules "

— Vanessa, 2/1/2012" If you do exactly as it says it works. Wish I had done it sooner! "
— Kari, 1/13/2012" Probably the only book I've ever read that I can definitively classify as a life-changer ;) "
— Jim, 1/4/2012" This is basically Dr. Ferber's method for "gradual extinction" or "crying it out". It's just written in a less clinical and more accessible way. The authors (social workers as opposed to doctors) make you feel as though they really feel your pain (sleep deprivation + crying child = no one happy). "
— Jill, 10/4/2011" So far so good, hopefully my babe won't be a troubled sleeper! but we'll see! "
— Chelsea, 8/24/2011" This book / methodology has been a lifesaver! The guidelines (not rules)are easy to follow and produced results for my baby almost immediately. Succinct and to the point, it offered both my baby and me the rest we both needed without spending hours reading! "

— Richelle, 8/1/2010" Still not sure if I think these women are evil... but it does work. Sad. "
— Heather, 7/5/2010" I'm giving it a 3 for now, when I implement it and it works...I'll bump it up to a 5. I really like how the authors explain why babies have trouble sleeping at certain stages and it gives parents reassurance. "
— Sarah, 6/2/2010" Has some practical sounding advice, but can't pass any real judgment until baby is in the house. "
— Shawn, 5/30/2010" Probably the only book I've ever read that I can definitively classify as a life-changer ;) "
