"SEX CLUB was my first exposure to LJ Sellers and her Detective Jackson mystery series and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised to discover a new writer in the genre that I look forward to reading much more of. I get the same kick out of Sellers that I have in the past from writers like Harlan Coben, Brian Freeman, Lisa Gardner, Laura Lippman, and Jeff Lindsay. Sellers is competent, creating flawed yet believable characters, and knowing instinctively how to plot and build suspense. A first-rate reading experience from cover to cover; I look forward to reading through Sellers entire backlist."

" Yikes! Quite a spellbinding suspense book. "
— Ann, 2/20/2014" Great mystery story! "
— Wendie, 2/15/2014" I am not one who really gets into fictional crime stories but in this case I have to say I was hooked from the first page. I sat there trying to guess each person role in the murders til the end and was still surprised when it all went don. I have to say I can't read more from this series. This is a must read book! "
— Kimberly, 2/9/2014" I really enjoyed this book. I had put this book off for about a year and I finally gave it a chance - I am glad that I did. The characters pull at you, the dialog is good, the plot is interesting. I truly enjoyed this book. I would have read this book faster except for a trip that I took and I made a promise to my husband that no reading would go on during the trip. "
— Neeka, 1/23/2014" A average whodunit. Good time pass. "
— Vinay, 1/22/2014" Promised much but didn't stay the distance. Too much revealed too early to keep me gripped, However still good enough to make me sign up for the next book in the Jackson series. "
— Martin, 1/15/2014" This was an interesting book on a topic which was all too real. It was actually quite disturbing to think this type of thing is actually happening with this country's children. I look forward to future books from this author. "
— Heather, 1/10/2014" Not a bad crime thriller. Will definitely read more from this series. "
— Jordanna, 10/11/2013" Excellent; Continuing character: Wade Jackson (first in series); a detective and a Planned Parenthood nurse get involved when a bomb attack is made against the clinic and a young teen is murdered "
— Joe, 9/17/2013" Well written crime thriller featuring detective Jackson, who I want to read more of, and a nurse who works at a clinic targeted by a killer. "
— Jack, 9/1/2013" This had the potential to be a very good thriller. However, the blatant politicizing in the storyline was a bit of a distraction. Sadly, I agree with the views of the author almost 100%. Maybe I will take a chance on the next in the series. "
— Ed, 7/10/2013" About 3 1/2. A good crime novel. I will be reading more from this author. "
— Kristy, 4/17/2013" L. J. Sellers has a real Connelly flare. Her Detective Jackson compares favorably with Harry Bosch, mixed with a little NON-gratuitous sex. "
— Sharon, 3/24/2013" Superb read!!! The characters were real and the plot believable.. I am now hooked on LJ Sellers :) "
— Susan, 2/2/2013" Really good, I still think the name of the book doesnt really fit it that well "
— Katlyn, 10/6/2012" what can I say...it was a freebie "
— Maureen, 4/18/2012" L.J.Sellers wrote a magnificent book on a highly controversial issue, loaded it with suspense, and walked away a winner! "
— Susan, 4/11/2012" Quick easy "who done it" read! Enjoyed it and will read book 2 in the Detective Jackson mystery series. "
— Cindy, 2/22/2012" Great book! Highly recommend "
— Jeannie, 7/31/2011" If there was a 1/2 star I'd give this one three-and-a-half. I'll give her next novel a chance, too. "
— Elaine, 7/14/2011" I read this because of the title. But it was a who-done-it mystery. Also a good thing for any mom to read. Kids are hooking up these days just for fun & to experiment. Parents, be aware!! "
— Beth, 5/31/2011" This book was good ... however, it was graphic.

I enjoyed reading it and would definitely read another by this author. "
— Janet, 5/4/2011" I really liked this book. LJ wrires in a crystal clear, terse style. I've read Coban and Kellerman and this book was just as engrossing. maybe better.
"
— Bob, 5/2/2011" Well written crime thriller featuring detective Jackson, who I want to read more of, and a nurse who works at a clinic targeted by a killer. "
— Jack, 2/28/2011" don't let the title put you off. It was a deal on the kindle and a good page turner for that time when you are in pain, on a bus and finding it hard to concentrate. "
— Canon, 2/15/2011" Another sad (shake your head) read, but yet well worth your time. "
