" I would give this book 3.5 stars. I enjoyed the unusual take on vampires and the dour and dire lifestyle compared to what is more typical. These vampires are barely getting along in their existence and the narrator is still living with her mother. She was turned at age 15 but really she's 50. Also it is set in Australia so there is enough unfamiliarity for me so it gave it a twist. "
