About Antonio Iturbe
Antonio Iturbe is a novelist and journalist. He interviewed Dita Kraus, the real-life librarian of Auschwitz, for The Librarian of Auschwitz.
About the Narrators
Marisa Calin is an actress, novelist, and multiple Earphones Award–winning narrator born in England and educated in New York at the American Academy of the Dramatic Arts. An artist with a flair for everything literary, she has written a young adult novel, You & Me, which received a starred review from Kirkus Reviews.
Dita Kraus is a Holocaust survivor the real-life Librarian of Auschwitz. As a young girl, she was entrusted with books that Auschwitz prisoners had managed to smuggle into the camp. Dita now lives in Israel, where she paints and enjoys the company of her son, her four grandchildren, and her four great grandchildren.
