"I liked it. Though it did not deserve that last star in my opinion. I love how it started out quickly. How they had already discovered the Facebook page on like chapter 3.I hate when books go through the character's background stories at the beginning and you have the hardest time starting the book. This wasn't one of those books. I really enjoyed it. I had no hard time getting through the novel. A little drag and repetitiveness in the middle but not too bad. The most predictable ending but I think its still worth the read. Also I wouldn't buy this book this is one of those books you should check out of the library or barrow from a friend. Only buy books if you will read again or if your rich and like to show off a collection of books you like to read :) I am new to this site so if your in to Young Adult books. I will read any genre as long as there is romance(my guilty pleasure). I love action, fantasy, paranormal, and even like Henry the 8th era books. So add me as a friend and I hope you liked my review."

“The real value of The Future of Us may lie less in its plot than in the rich crop of questions it will raise in teenage readers.”
— New York Times Book Review“A tremendously likable, soul-searching romantic comedy and a subtle reminder to occasionally unplug and live in the moment.”
— School Library Journal“This honest, remarkable book offers a fictional situation realistically.”
— VOYA" I liked how you could see what happened from both characters perspectives. I also liked how it showed things that happened in the future (our time - 2012ish) "
— Kathleen, 2/7/2014" You can read my thoughts here. (3.5/5) "
— Joy, 2/1/2014" The premise of the book was promising but it wasn't as well executed as I had hoped. I wished I loved either Emma or Josh and I wanted Facebook to impact them in a way that was more than who Emma was going to marry. I wasn't thrilled with the way the whole Facebook conflict was resolved - it didn't help to convince me that Emma had changed. I didn't even like the love plot between Emma and Josh :( "
— Allissa, 1/18/2014" Honestly don't even know why I bothered. "
— Craig, 1/18/2014" It's one of the best book for teenagers to read. Seriously. There's a whole lot to it than just the girl and the boy falling in love. it's kind of... mind boggling and... awesome \m/ "
— Calumbiran, 1/16/2014" I liked it, the love story is cute. The idea of finding yourself on Fb before it exists really intrigued me, for a teen read-this book didn't disappoint. "

— Anne, 3/17/2012" I'm not sure how much teenagers today will understand the 90s references unless they are very aware of 90s pop culture. That said, this book brought back a lot of nostalgia, and I could hardly put it down. Loved the characters and enjoyed the plot. "
