But I did want to mention that there wasn't that much romance in this "Supernatural love story". The romance didn't even really start until near the end. And when it did start it wasn't that beautiful, romatic, or something you would "ohhhh" at and then sigh. "

" The ending was so unexpected . . . it was amazing. "

" I didn't love this as much as I loved A Certain Slant of Light. I found this to be much more sci-fi and a lot less romance than it appeared to be from the inside cover. Overall it was interesting, not very memorable though. I felt like I was reading The Time Traveler's Wife and had to stop trying to figure it out so much and just go with it. "

" I picked this one up a long while back. The book was not what I thought it was going to be about from the cover description. It had an unexpected twist of the main character tangling with the Romanov family and Rasputin. Quick read; I finished it in a day. Nothing fantastic or earth shattering, but enjoyable. "
