"I took me a little while to get into Stone's "The Echelon Vendetta", but once I did it proved to be a worthy thriller/spy adventure. I would say stone is a step or two below the like of Clancy, Ludlum or even Vince Flynn, but the story is good, the ending is interesting and overall I'm glad I stuck with it. Definitely worth a read if you have a free afternoon."

— Kirkus Reviews (starred review)“A smoothly written spy thriller…Packed with the kind of nitty-gritty detail that draws espionage fans. A promising debut.”
— Booklist" Probably one of the best "you never know what is going to happen next" suspense thriller books I've ever read. It grabs you early and doesn't let you go until the very end, and then you want it to keep on going.... "

— Gandi, 12/11/2013" An unlikeable main character, a convoluted plot and unnecessary and seemingly irrelevant brutality (described in detail) turned me right off this book. I don't think I'll bother reading "The Orpheus Deception". "
— Jud, 11/17/2013" Quite a story. Got a little violent! "
