"This was a wonderful series with characters that completely draw you in. I found myself tearing up during many parts of the book, from sad to just touching moments. I am very glad that I read this series and would recommend it to anyone that is a fan of fantasy novels. "

" There were times that this series was a challenge to wade through. It was a decent story with some good elements, but the telling of it was rather simplistic. Quite a few info dumps with choppy transitions between character stories. I will likely never read this series again and am cautious about reading the author again. Perhaps I have gotten spoiled by some of the excellent authors I have read lately? "
— Otb4evr, 2/19/2014" Such a waste, such a waste! The first book was mind-blowing, and then the rest of the series goes downhill. "
— Kira, 1/29/2014" Again, tears. Just a magnificent trilogy; I have to wait a year or two in between reads to savour properly the imagery and story. "
— SA, 1/23/2014" A book about choices in the conclusion to the Fionavar Tapestry. Choices of life, death, love and whether to serve the Light or the Dark. And can the eternal triangle of Arthur, Guinevere, and Lancelot find peace from their guilt and suffering? "
— Robert, 1/15/2014" Perhaps my least favourite of the trilogy, although it explains a lot and ties things up. One thing I like about these books is the way the lives of 'fairly average' people grow to meet the challenge that is much bigger than even the best and brightest. In a way that is unfair, as some of them are significantly talented, but none of them are sufficient for the times in themselves. "
— Debra, 1/13/2014" Perhaps it's only me, but I found this very difficult to get caught up in. The pretentious usage of hard to pronounce names, but maybe they're easy to pronounce if you can get past the spelling of the names, makes it feel like I'm walking barefoot across a lush green lawn with shards of glass liberally strewn across it. I try to step around the names to continue the enjoyment of a well written fantasy novel but the names keep cutting in on the pleasure. "
— Diane, 1/11/2014" Not quite as good as the first one, but better than the second one, a satisfying conclusion with lots of unexpected twists. "
— Yvonne, 1/8/2014" Despite thoroughly enjoying the first two in the trilogy, this one kind of lost me...for whatever reason, it didn't follow through for me. Still better than the vast majority of fantasy novels out there, mind you! "
— Judah, 1/8/2014" Something about the name Kevin is inherently unheroic. "
— Jonathan, 1/1/2014" One of my favorite all time authors. Haven't read a book/series of his where one book was less than excellent. "
— Keith, 12/15/2013" One of my favorite fantasy series by one of my favorite fantasy authors. "
— Ken, 11/24/2013" The last in the trilogy and the one that will dry up your well of tears, but also bring peace. "
— Kaby, 11/18/2013" Wow just found this in the search list. I totally loved this Fantasy book when I was younger. I've read it soo many times :O) "
— Josephine, 11/7/2013" The third and final book of "The Fionavar Tapestry." Please see my comments about "The Wandering Fire," (book two) for more about Kay... "
— Sam, 8/28/2013" I read this trilogy first and while it is terrific, I like his other books more. "
— Ehud, 7/8/2013" The conclusion to my favorite series is, although sad, fantastic. "
— Jilian, 3/25/2013" After the first two books, this one is really slow moving. I feel like I'm slogging through thick mud. "
— Anna, 11/11/2012" So good! Will definitely read more of his books. :) Excellent ending, I think. "
— Andrea, 9/29/2012" A fantastic character driven book. Great. "
— Aaron, 5/12/2012" MAGNIFICENT. Where the first two books were good, this one was excellent. A very satisfying conclusion to a rich tale. This third book made me decide that the Fionavar Tapestry is one of my favorite fantasy series of all time. "
— Jessie, 2/4/2012" Appropriately dark and wretched. Love it. "
— Christabel, 12/2/2011" Perfect ending to an amazing series. "
— Richelle, 10/17/2011" A perfect ending to an excellent series (see my review on The Summer Tree for more in-depth comment). I recommend Ysabel by Kay for similiarities of theme and a revisit with some of these characters. "
— Jenn, 8/22/2011" Wow just found this in the search list. I totally loved this Fantasy book when I was younger. I've read it soo many times :O) "
— Josephine, 5/16/2011" One of my favorite fantasy series by one of my favorite fantasy authors. "
— Ken, 4/11/2011" Whoo, this book made me cry like I haven't done in a while. Great writing, I really connected with the characters. "
— Madeleine, 3/15/2011" Fantastic completion to the trilogy. Love it love it love it!! "
— Abigail, 2/3/2011" For me this one was the weakest of the series... Battles and war are not my thing! But I liked to read about Darien. I think I'd be more interested in reading about what happened in Toronto next... "
— Mady, 1/16/2011" Une fin en apothéose qui m'a soufflée. C'est bien simple, j'ai passé mon temps à pleurer et/ou renifler pendant les 50 dernières pages. Génial! "
— La, 11/26/2010" The last novel of a continuing story and should be read as such.

For a review of the full series, look under The Fionavar Tapestry.

"
— Jackie, 11/16/2010" Such a great first sci-fi read for me. This trilogy really held my attention and the characters were great. I would definitely read more of his novels in the future. AWesome books! "
