" Better than the first volume, with more plot-twists and denser storyline, and the characters, while still a bit shallow, are better drawn-out. A few stumbles in the plot - won't spoil it, but there is one bit that feels as if the author simply couldn't figure out where he was going and so cut that particular thread out of the weave of the story, and it's just clumsy enough to leave you scratching your head and wondering if you missed something. Still a fun book, and I will get the third volume whenever it comes out. "
