About the Authors

Andrea J. Buchanan is a New York Times bestselling author whose work includes the international bestsellers The Daring Book for Girls and The Double-Daring Book for Girls. Before becoming a writer, Buchanan trained as a pianist, earning a bachelor of music degree in piano performance from the Boston Conservatory of Music and a master’s from the San Francisco Conservatory. She once performed a solo concert at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. She lives with her family in Philadelphia.

Miriam Peskowitz is the mother of two girls, including one who climbs trees and leads spy missions in the backyard. She has been a camp counselor, a historian, a blogger, a musician, a professor, and is the author of several books, including The Truth Behind the Mommy Wars.

About Ilyana Kadushin

Ilyana Kadushin was born in Miami and raised in the rural cornfields of Maryland. She attended the Tisch School of Arts in New York City and has performed in many theater productions. Kadushin wrote and performed a one woman multimedia musical called Devour the Apple. Her narration of In the Age of Love and Chocolate won an AudioFile Earphones Award.
