About Andrea J. Buchanan

Andrea J. Buchanan is a New York Times bestselling author whose work includes the international bestsellers The Daring Book for Girls and The Double-Daring Book for Girls. Before becoming a writer, Buchanan trained as a pianist, earning a bachelor of music degree in piano performance from the Boston Conservatory of Music and a master’s from the San Francisco Conservatory. She once performed a solo concert at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. She lives with her family in Philadelphia.

About the Narrators

Elizabeth Wiley, an Earphones Award–winning narrator, is a seasoned actor, dialect coach, and theater professor. George Newbern is an Earphones Award–winning narrator and a television and film actor best known for his roles as Brian MacKenzie in Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride Part II, as well as Danny in Friends. As a voice actor, he is notable for his role as Superman on the Cartoon Newtork series Static Shock, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited. He has guest starred on many television series, including Scandal, The Mentalist, Private Practice, CSI: Miami, and Numb3rs. He holds a BA in theater arts from Northwestern University.

Julia Whelan is a novelist, screenwriter, lifelong actor, and multiple award-winning audiobook narrator. She graduated with a degree in English and creative writing from Middlebury College and Oxford University. She is a former child actor who has appeared in multiple films and television shows.
