About the Authors

Eve Adamson is a New York Times bestselling author and freelance writer who lives, works, parents, cooks, practices yoga, and obsesses about food in Iowa City.

Domyo Sater Burk has been a student of meditation for twenty years. Ordained as a Soto Zen priest in 2001, she had seven years of residential training at Dharma Rain Zen Center and was empowered to function as an independent Zen teacher in 2010 by Rev. Gyokuko Carlson. In addition to Zen meditation, Burk has experience with mindfulness and all the various forms of Buddhist meditation. She is also the author of Idiot’s Guides: Zen Living and Idiot’s Guides: Mindfulness, and leads Bright Way Zen Center in Portland, Oregon.
