About the Narrators

Stephen Colbert is the host, writer, and executive producer of the Emmy and Peabody Award–winning series The Colbert Report; he was also The Daily Show’s longest-running and most diverse correspondent. His book, I Am America (And So Can You!), was a  #1 New York Times bestseller. He also contributed to the #1 New York Times bestseller America (The Book): A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction. He has appeared on shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Saturday Night Live.

Amy Sedaris has appeared frequently on screen, both large and small. She is co-creator, with Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello, of Comedy Central’s hit show Strangers with Candy and half of the Obie-winning “Talent Family” playwright team, with her brother, David. Amy lives in Manhattan with her imaginary boyfriend, Ricky, and her pet rabbit, Dusty.

Alyson Silverman’s television and film credits include Sex and the City, Garmento, and Celebrity. Some of her theater credits include the off-Broadway production of Tony ’n’ Tina’s Wedding and the national tour of To Kill a Mockingbird with the National Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Marsha Mason is a four-time Academy Award nominee for Best Actress and a two-time Golden Globe winner. She was nominated for an Emmy for her guest appearance on Frasier and for a Grammy for best Comedy Album in 2000. She is currently featured on the sitcom The Middle. Her Broadway credits include The Night of the Iguana (1996) and Steel Magnolias (2005).
