About the Narrators
Shannon Cochran is an actress and director, whose work includes the First National Tour of the Pulitzer Prize–winning play August: Osage County, a film opposite Kathleen Turner called The Perfect Family, and Last Days, a radio play for the BBC. She has performed and directed with LA Theatre Works, an organization producing radio plays for NPR, for fifteen years.
Edward “Ed” Asner (1929–2021) was an American actor best known for his Emmy-winning role as Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, later continued in a spin-off series, Lou Grant. He made dozens of appearances—including voice-over work—on television shows and recorded a number of audiobooks.
Stephen Colbert is the host, writer, and executive producer of the Emmy and Peabody Award–winning series The Colbert Report; he was also The Daily Show’s longest-running and most diverse correspondent. Alyson Silverman’s television and film credits include Sex and the City, Garmento, and Celebrity. Some of her theater credits include the off-Broadway production of Tony ’n’ Tina’s Wedding and the national tour of To Kill a Mockingbird with the National Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Tim Kazurinsky is an actor and screenwriter best known as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and for his role as Carl Sweetchuck in the Police Academy films.
Amy Sedaris has appeared frequently on screen, both large and small. She is co-creator, with Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello, of Comedy Central’s hit show Strangers with Candy and half of the Obie-winning “Talent Family” playwright team, with her brother, David. Amy lives in Manhattan with her imaginary boyfriend, Ricky, and her pet rabbit, Dusty.
Nia Vardalos
is the Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated actress and writer of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. An alumna of
The Second City comedy theater, she also starred in and wrote Connie and Carla and I Hate Valentine's Day, starred in My Life In Ruins, and co-wrote Larry
Crowne with Tom Hanks. Born and raised in Canada, Vardalos now resides in Los
Angeles with her husband, their daughter, and many pets and is currently
working on balancing her acting and writing career with motherhood and adoption
advocacy.
R. F. Daley is an actor, voice-over artist, and audiobook narrator. His television credits include Curb Your Enthusiasm, Bones, Dexter, The Office, Arrested Development, Boston Public, and Spin City, among many others. He has narrated numerous audiobooks by L. Ron Hubbard and was the voice of the military adviser in the video game Civilization V.
