M. C. Beaton (1936–2019), hailed as the “Queen of Crime” by the Globe and Mail, was the author of the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Agatha Raisin novels—the basis for the hit series on Acorn TV—as well as the Hamish Macbeth series. Born in Scotland, Beaton also wrote nearly one hundred historical romances under several pseudonyms. Cynthia Bailey-Pratt has written over twenty romances, ranging from historical romance to paranormal fiction. She and her husband live along the North Carolina coast.
Sarah Eagle is a romance author and librarian. She has been nominated for Best Regency Comedy by RT Book Reviews and by the Colorado Romance Writers. She holds a BS in education from Bowling Green State University and an MLS from University of South Florida.
Melinda Pryce is the author of numerous romance novels. She has served as a judge in local- and national-level writers contests. She is the past president of two writers associations and the founding member of a third organization.
Lindy Nettleton is a professional actress and a registered nurse who was born in England and lived in Hong Kong, Singapore, Scotland, and various places in England before coming to the United States. Apart from acting and narrating audiobooks, she runs her own wellness business. She is now a US citizen and is happy to make Newport, Rhode Island, her home.
