"This was an excellent book. I'm new to Barbara Freethy and this is the first book of hers I have read though I have read sample books of several other of her books and am very pleased and have ordered all the sample books I have read. This book is full of secrecy and has many twists and turns and keeps you guessing until the end. The characters are super! I highly recommend this book. It is very well written and is a real page turner and hard to put down."

" Another good read by Ms Freethy. Not one of my favorites though. The story was a bit convoluted but the I liked the characters and I was interested in their stories. Wish there was an epilogue. "
— Sierra, 2/16/2014" I got this book as a cheap Kindle download. It was good, not as good as some of the author's other books though. The secret was fairly obvious to me, but the author kept me guessing with some unexpected plot twists. Overall, it's an easy, fairly interesting summer read. And I learned quite a bit about sailing. "
— Kim, 1/30/2014" The premise of the book was more exicitng than the book itelf. A fast and enjoyable read - but not a great book! "
— Leslie, 1/29/2014" Three sisters and their well kept secret are about to have their lives changed by a stranger. A reporter comes to town with his own reasons for searching out the sisters. He unravels the tale behind the boat racing family and digs up old wounds. Why don't the girls race anymore? Can Tyler keep to his mission whilst being distracted by his feelings for one of the sisters? A romance written around an ocean going theme. "
— Rosie, 1/25/2014" Actually a pretty good story about three daughters and their father who raced their sailboat 8 years ago, and the secrets they all carried since that race. "
— Rhonda, 1/22/2014" It was a cute little love story. The main thing that kept my interest in the storyline was the promise of this big "secret" to be revealed near the end. "
— Vanessa, 1/22/2014" I read this book in two days. I usually don't read this kind of book, but it's a great beach read. "
— Virginia, 1/17/2014" An easy read, a little far fetched. Characters didn't have a lot of depth to them. The plot did hold my attention though. "
— Caroline, 1/2/2014" It took way too long to tell this story. "
— Sherry, 12/31/2013" This was a light, quick read with an easy-to-follow, entertaining story. I found it enjoyable. However, I'm not sure it's because it's the Kindle version and it didn't get transferred properly or what, but all of the typos and grammatical errors drove me nuts. "
— Michelle, 12/30/2013" a good summer read. It is a lend me book! "
— Barbara, 12/28/2013" A good book about family secrets and relationships. It held my interest and kept me guessing as to who was the mother of Amelia. "

— Wanda, 2/21/2013" I really enjoyed this book! Romance, mystery, sailboats... honestly what more could you want? Truthfully it kept me on my toes and interested the whole way through. I usually can figure out an ending pretty quickly but not with this one. A light read but a great read! "

— Mary, 9/23/2012" Disappointed...sounded like it was going to be a really good story but the characters were never really developed & the story line was rather boring. I skimmed through several pages so that I could get to the end before I went to bed last night. "
