Publisher Description

Just as Sophie Mercer has come to accept her extraordinary magical powers as a demon, the Prodigium Council strips them away. Now Sophie is defenseless, alone, and at the mercy of her sworn enemies—the Brannicks, a family of warrior women who hunt down the Prodigium.  Or at least that's what Sophie thinks, until she makes a surprising discovery. The Brannicks know an epic war is coming, and they believe Sophie is the only one powerful enough to stop the world from ending. But without her magic, Sophie isn't as confident.

Sophie's bound for one hell of a ride—can she get her powers back before it's too late?

"Pretty good book however, I felt certain tasks that were given to Sophie and her crew were a little too simple and easy (i.e. when they were sent to get demon glass). The fights between good and evil weren't exciting enough but overall it was a great book."

— Julie (4 out of 5 stars)

Quotes

  • “Sophie is a fairly plucky heroine and quite likeable. The action is pretty nonstop and the plot engaging.”

" Damn it I wanted to give this book five stars! but the shyt ending and the way it was rushed kinda pissed me off! The whole thing was mush, if it weren't for the humor and laughs it gave me it would have been a 1 star! Wow this was just maddening! "

" I actually did not enjoy this book as much the first two. I think there was just a lot of talking about the past and I also believed there wasn't much action. I still got a good laugh out of it but for some reason Sophie started to annoy me. "
