" I didn't realize this was part of a larger series when I requested it from the library and somehow missed that on the cover too until I was a ways into the book and figured out it had to be part of a series. So it probably would have made more sense if I had read the other books first but at the same time I did like the book. Its not has good as her historical romances but I did enjoy it. I really liked Reagen and Liz as characters. I was kind of disappointed that Liz never got an actual case though and really didn't have any character growth throughout the book. "
