In a secluded house not far from Washington, D.C., the FBI is interviewing one of the most important witnesses it has ever had: a young woman named Faith Lockhart. For Faith has done too much, knows too much, and will tell too much.

"This is the second book by David Baldacci I read, and I must admit, I like his style. He reminds me a lot of Tom Clancy, he knows his stuff and sticks to it. My only problem was with the narration...I found the voice was trying to sound too much like a game show host and was over pronouncing at times...his female voices were not great, but that's hard to do...all in all: I recommend. Good story!"

" This was a challenge for nearly 13 hours. Story was decent, and much of the narration was good. However, the reader has a bad habit of ending words with a breathy emphasis. Gets really annoying after a while. It bothered both of us, but others may not hear the annoyance. "

" Great story of just how deadly Washington politics can become when greed and not service to country are the vision of some. Mr. Baldacci does an excellent job of creating paper monsters the reader is hoping will come to some kind of end at the hands of the hero. "
