Publisher Description

In the scorching heat of the Southwestern desert, a frightened old man knows his time is quickly running out, as the bad karma of his own good fortune is finally closing in on him after 50 years.

Risa Sheridan knows everything there is to know about gold; and her boss, Shane Tannahill, is addicted to the stuff, having already made the precious metal the theme of his ultrasuccessful Las Vegas casino. Now an ancient Celtic piece is being offered to Shane, with the promise of more to come, and the casino owner is hooked. Risa, however, is wary, because something about this particular artifact says stay away.

Soon people are dying all around Risa and Shane, as the wrong hands reach out for a remarkable golden treasure wrapped in a terrifying conundrum that dates back to the time of the Druids. However, it is a more contemporary danger that is drawing the beautiful gold expert and her gold-loving employer closer together, and is placing them in the center of an insidious plot to destroy Shane Tannahill and everything he's struggled so hard to build.

"OK, I am officially addicted to this series. This, the third book, kept me sneaking away to read during a horrendously busy day because I had to see what happened next! I lOVED Zach, he was the perfect combination of humor, determination, protectiveness, good looks, and power, yeah! Lexie was also fun to read. She was a strong, resilient woman with serious issues to overcome but the wonderful heart, honesty and courage to attempt it. A great paranormal (but not one that should be read without reading the first two in the series before) with hot romance (scene skippers prepare) that will leave you biting your lips waiting for the next one to be published."

" I really wanted to like this book as I have waited to read Lexi and Zach's story since the first book. However it was hard to get into. Lexi got on my nerves with her "trust" issues and I just wanted this book to be over with. I hope the next book Living Nightmare with Madoc and Nika will be better. "

" I liked the story but I got really tired of hearing Lexi throw out "yeah, but you could be brainwashing me" every other minute. It was OK in the beginning, but I felt like that part dragged on for too long. By the time she gets over it, the book is done. "

" Great sttory but heroine annoyed me...even though the way she felt and her doubtswere justified, she irritated me. Maybe because Zach sounded so lovely yet protective and alpha... "

" This was a fast-paced, truly entertaining romantic caper/thriller. Las Vegas was a fun setting and the small touch of paranormal associated with the Druid gold was just enough to spice it up to the next level. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up! "
