S. E. Hinton is one of the most popular and best-known writers of young adult fiction. Her first book, The Outsiders, was published in 1967. She has since written several books, including That Was Then, This Is Now; Rumble Fish; Big David, Little David; and The Puppy Sister. She was the first person to win the YASD/SLJ Author Achievement Award from the American Library Association.
Tom Stechschulte (1948–2021) was an acclaimed narrator and winner of the prestigious Audie Award for Best Narration.
