Publisher Description

Theirs was a marriage made in tabloid heaven, but no sooner had supermodel Laura Ayars and Celtics star David Baskin said “I do” than tragedy struck. While honeymooning on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, David went out for a swim—and never returned.

Now widowed and grieving, Laura has a thousand questions and no answers. Her search for the truth will draw her into a web of lies and deception that stretches back thirty years—while on the court at the Boston Garden, a rookie phenom makes his spectacular debut….

"Its the first time Ive read anything by this author and so pleased I picked this one... Its not rated very highly on amazon by a lot of readers, but it has kept me turning with its crazy story about a husband gone missing presumed dead, but he is actually there amongst them all... :) "

" Loved it! Had a really hard time putting this book down. Lots of unexpected twists and turns that had me re-read the prologue more than once during the course of the story. Not a bad way for Harlan Coben to start his writing career! "

" This book was awsome.. In the very beginning of the book he says if you have never read any of his books before to not read this first.. He js right it is not a good book to start out with... I love this author highly reccomened.. "

" This was Harlan Coben's first book so I thought I'd take a shot. Don't use this book as an example of his storytelling skills. Read one of his later books when he is in his groove. Coben is one of the best in his genre. Everyone has to start somewhere.. "

" This book was extremely predictable, and in my opinion, overly dramatic and unrealistic. The funny thing is, however, I could not put it down. I have never read another book by Harlan Coben, but I won't let this one be the deciding factor on whether or not I read him again. "

" I realize that this is the first book he has ever written, but I feel this book is not up to his standards. There were no suprises in this book, you knew exactly what was going to happen. "
