Piper Reed, Navy Brat Audiobook

" This book is way below my reading level. I mean, really, it has PICTURES. However, it is a Maud Hart Lovelace book, and it's my goal to read all of those this year. "

" I know all my students will enjoy this book since so many of us can relate to moving to a new home since our parents are in the military. My dad was in the Army so I related to how Piper Reed was feeling as they travelled in the car to their new home. This was a great Battle Book! "

" Piper's father is in the navy. Lots of moving and how to handle that. Cute, not to in depth. "

" I read this book with my 6 year old daughter, who fell in love with Piper and the book. It has many parallels to what we have gone through recently. I love reading it with her and listening to her make the connections. We will continue to read the rest of the series. "
