In his controversial New York Times bestseller The Roots of Obama’s Rage, Dinesh D’Souza answered the question on everyone’s mind: why is President Obama hell-bent on seeing America fail? The reason, D’Souza explained, is Obama’s fervent anticolonial ideology. Here, in his blockbuster follow-up, Obama’s America, D’Souza shows how President Obama is applying his anticolonial ideology to unmake America and turn it into a country our founders would hardly recognize. Obama came into office with an eight-year plan for America, argues D’Souza. If he’s reelected in 2012, he will be able to finish the job—and destroy America’s future. Making the case that Obama must be a one-term president, Obama’s America reveals what unchecked power will do to this great nation and is a must-read for anyone who cares about America and her future.

"I found this to be a very interesting book. While the author is clearly a conservative he does bring up some very valid points. If you go along with the author's hypothesis of anti-colonialism Obama's actions while in office do make more sense. I also found this book to be frightening even if it were only partially true."

“Stunning…The most profound insight I have read in the last six years about Barack Obama.”
— Newt Gingrich on The Roots of Obama's Rage" IMHO, lots of " boggy man" stuff. Reminds me of how some people felt G. Bush allowed the 9/11 attacks happen. ( insert eye roll) "
— Mz, 2/20/2014" Unmaking the American Dream - one of the two books that the movie 2016 was based on. D'Souza makes a case for the root of Obama's belief's, motivation and moral compass being based on his father's hatred of colonization. Thus, Obama wants America to be brought down a notch to be diminished in power, wealth and position in the world in order for the third world nations to be more equal. Interesting, yet a bit tedious. "
— Nancy, 2/13/2014" Understanding what motivates a person helps to explain pattern of decisions. Is this a cautionary tale of America's future under the current president or a bleak perspective from a paranoid conservative. The reader can judge but the book should be read. "
— Joe, 1/26/2014" D'Souza explains Obama's background, ideology and beliefs. It helped me understand why Obama does what he does. "
— Julie, 1/20/2014" Very interesting and well-documented--very scary. "
— Cynthia, 1/15/2014" A must read. Even if you do not agree at least give it a try. Keep your mind open. "
— Karen, 1/14/2014" Excellent book! I love D'Souza's writting. Too bad more people don't pay attention. "
— Lisa, 12/25/2013" As much as I reject conspiracy theories, D'souza makes a compelling argument. Compelling and frightening. What can I say? I hope he's wrong. "
— Gutman, 12/21/2013" A terrific revealing stroy of the real Obama. "
— William, 11/28/2013" A VERY interesting read. (Only 4 stars because it was a bit 'dry' at times--not unusual for the genre.) Don't know if it would ever change anyone's mind about Barack, but it offered up some different insights. "
— Christine, 11/14/2013" depressing but a must read to understand what is going on. "
