Vince Ciacci wanted to be a “Made Guy.” From the time he left the brutality of upstate New York’s Coxsackie Reformatory, he worked for “Wiseguys,” committing armed robberies, collecting for the Mob, and dreaming of the day that he would “get his button.”
He never made it into the Mafia’s inner sanctum. Why? He was too crazy and too violent. Hooked on drugs and alcohol, Vince was a loose cannon, so dangerous that his own crew considered taking him out.
This is his story, told in his own voice. It’s the story of a guy who, by all rights, should be dead or in prison today. Come along for the ride in a story of true crime like you’ve never heard before.

"This audio book kept me totally engaged and wanting to know more. Mr. Ciacci's story reflects on a man who looked death in the eye and somehow survived. How someone navigates through such a hostile and dangerous environment and somehow survives is indeed remarkable. It is a tale that reflects great strength, courage and perseverance. Mr. Ciacci story is a must listen for those who want more than just a a casual peek into a world that few of us have ever known or will experience. I highly recommend this audio book that provides the opportunity to reflect on a real life 20th century drama."

Vince Ciacci was born in Little Italy, New York City, the only child of Italian immigrant parents. After a stint in a reformatory, he aspired to become a “made guy” but ultimately left that life and created his Mob Shot podcast to document his (mis)adventures in crime.
