"I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. The characters were interesting and many had unique personalities. I did manage to guess whom the killer was before the detective. A little more time on the post ending wrap up would have been nice, but otherwise the ending was entertaining. "

" These books are pretty much alike, but I had the tapes, and needed something to listen to in the car. If you've read any of them, you know what this one is like. "
— Pattyb, 2/3/2014" Not my favorite in the series. My mind kept wandering so I'd have to replay chapters. I like a mystery that grips and this wasn't it. Disappointing, but one can't expect every story an author writes to be top-notch. Still love the author and I like the series "
— Sharon, 2/3/2014" I love all of Sue Grafton's book. I love her sense of humor and she always has an unexpected twist at the end. Looking forward to more. "
— Phyllis, 2/3/2014" I was a bit perturbed by this one. I was blown away when the killer was revealed. I didn't get that at all. LOL it was also sad, but I like the vulnerability shown in Kinsey in this book. I really enjoyed the book overall. "
— Sassafrass, 2/1/2014" Maybe not as suspenseful as others of this series but I enjoyed seeing the vulnerable side of Kinsey this book. "
— Julie, 2/1/2014" I am having a hard time getting into this one... "
— Theresa, 1/11/2014" I always enjoyed this series, I just caught up on the backlist and forgot to look for new titles as they came out. I'd like to catch up some day. "
— JG, 12/30/2013" One of my favorites of the series so far! It's a well-crafted mystery with some interesting exploration of Kinsey's emotions and relationships. "

— Becky, 12/15/2013" The plot was really well thought out and interesting... I really enjoyed the ending too quite the twist. "
— Ellisse, 11/21/2013" Kinsey Millhone is a fun and spunky PI heroine. The alphabet series is great because it takes place starting in 1982. PI work seems terribly rudimentary before cellphones, the internet and other modern technology. References to gabardine suits and Chardonnay are greatly appreciated. "
— Rachel, 11/8/2013" I didn't enjoy this one as much as some of the others, but it was an ok read. "
— Allison, 10/31/2013" Have read all the grafting books. Fun reads "
— Roger, 10/22/2013" Enjoyed yet another in this series...didn't know what was going on until close to the end. Nicely done by the author. "
— Mishka, 10/20/2013" This was a good novel. I didn't suspect the killer at all. I never saw the end coming. Some of the characters was so likeable like Guy. He changed since his past and really wanted to make amends. "
— Jannene, 7/24/2013" This is one of the in-the-middle-of-the-alphabet Grafton mysteries that I wasn't that crazy about. She is still worth reading though. "
— Kimberly, 1/20/2013" Another good Kinsey read. I really liked her interaction with Guy. Some of the foreshadowing was off and, I thought, went to waste, but I guess she was tring to throw us off the scent. Fun read! "
— Jennifer, 8/18/2012" I wish I was farther along than M. This series is turning into an addiction that I don't particularly want or enjoy. "
— Rita, 6/1/2012" can't go wrong with Grafton - light, fun, entertaining "
— Jean, 6/1/2012" A very satisfying read. She has the ability to give the reader everything they need to feed sated after a session with her stories. "
— Greg, 5/18/2012" Much better than L. Makes me want to finish the series. "
— Penny, 4/24/2012" I love Sue Grafton and her "Kinsey Milhone" series. Fun and quick reading. Great airplane reading. "
