The tenth installment in the internationally bestselling series—now a major motion picture starring Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore—brings to light a tragic love story, an unforgivable sacrifice, and a dark force unlike any the characters have ever faced.

Nobody enters here after dark. Come back in the morning—if you’re still breathing.

Thomas Ward is the seventh son of a seventh son and apprentice to the local Spook. He has battled boggarts, witches, and the most powerful evils of the Dark. But his most trying task is yet to come.

When Tom and the Spook are deceived by one they trust, they find themselves in the most terrifying danger yet. Blood-hungry creatures have invaded a sleepy village. Tom can save the Spook—and the whole county—but only by betraying one of his greatest allies. With everything on the line, Tom must have the courage to stand and fight—and to face a choice that could break his heart.

" How Much can u love a book? Weird way to begin...Nuh..The Spook's Apprentice...Nuhuh...Should it start like:OMG I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED I READ IT or....ti was nothing new but another great howling story....Fuck it's late and i need to sleep....SO i'll start like this...The Spook's Apprentice is everything i mentioned before,a mixture of horror, guilt, suspicion, joy of life, ghouls, trolls,Ugly over-aged bitc...ehm.... witches with bad breath issues(i guess listerine is not an option),midnight hauntings, cemeteries blah blah blah blah..ur smart u'll gues what comes next (and that's not SNookie from Jersey Shore-wht an allusion....i never fail yo impress my self,RespecT!) ..and in the middle of all this there is a 13 year old genious who intentionally became a seventh son of a seventh son,a really obsessive and mystifying possible CatWOman like figure (u know i'm a super-villain but at times i am really kind hearted..and madly in love with u..) witch-wanabe girl who IMO is the most amazing character in the book(nothing else, spoilers) and lastly a 50 year old exorcist-magician-shaman-seid( didn't quite get it well) who is very kindly hearted, extremelly practical, devilish smart and mentor to the kids.THe REsUlT?BEliEVE me BiAtchEs.....EXPLOSIVE....non stop action,no stalling, fantastic technique(right to the point) writting, amazing enviroment a bit goth and country, full of aesthetics and really haunting sceneries....I ABSolUTELY ADORED IT!IT is a thriler for kids(not exclusively, but believe me when i say it takes les than two or three hours to finish it)with a TEry gilliam,Guillermo del Toro,Tim BUrton,And tiMur BekmAbetov sort of feeling....A must to everyone who enjoyes good books...I wont say kid book cause IMO u must be a fucktard(fucking retard) if u believe that books are certain ages much like some "papis" do here.... " What a fun summer read--I enjoyed it! While it made me hungry for the slightly ghoulish heart of the Graveyard Book (really in a class by itself) and the brilliant thrills and chills of Garth Nix's Abhorsen series, it was great to try a new series. The Last Apprentice might also appeal to fans of the Ranger's Apprentice series (those are getting a little strung out for me). "
