Publisher Description

Few writers have skyrocketed to the top of best seller lists as quickly as Robert Ludlum. In this memoir, the renowned author of The Parsifal Mosaic, The Aquitaine Progression, and The Bourne Supremacy tells the untold story behind his famous fiction. Hear the author reveal the “privileged” sources for many of his intricate plots and relate behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the novels and some of his favorite characters. He explains how his own views on politics, violence, and relationships motivate him to write. And he talks about life before his first novel, his early career in show business, and the novelistic techniques that made him an “overnight” success. A rare and stimulating glimpse at a creative mind at work, Ludlum on Ludlum is an indispensable hour with the master of modern espionage.
