"Yet another great book from Earlene Fowler. About love and caring, family and friends. Always a strong, practical message about God and his mercy without being "preachy". I really enjoy her books. "

" I liked this one (: just like everything I've read by this author . It wasn't my favorite though due to being kind of slow up until the end . I lovedd Jake (Michelle's dad) and allll the characters though , just him especially , he added a lott to the story and without him it wouldn't have been as good . Worth reading though if you're intrested in this series ! "
— Ariel, 2/18/2014" Four long-time friends have been cheating & stealing, socking away millions in a Cayman Island fund for their future. Will the young backwoods Louisiana doctor, cousin of the wife of one of these guys, figure out what they did, and ruin everything? "
— Kitty, 2/15/2014" I just love the Buchanan series and it was well written "
— Rawan, 2/13/2014" This was my first Julie Garwood, I liked the book, characters, plot and have about five or six more books of hers that I will be reading. I look forward to comparing her to the other authors I've read for this genre. "
— Tasha, 2/13/2014" I have admit to being disappointed. I adore period romances, like Garwood's earlier novels. Perhaps it is my general dislike of contemporary romances. I stopped reading this author with this novel. "
— Patti, 2/10/2014" I really liked this book! This was the third or fourth book I've read by Julie Garwood. She's a good writer. She really pulls you in. I would have loved to have learned more about the mysterious John-Paul. "
— Ellany, 1/20/2014" This book was really good. "
— Tammy, 1/6/2014" I picked this book up at a garage sale for a dollar. Not a big fan. It was sappy and predictable. It was an easy and quick read with little substance. "
— Lori, 12/30/2013" I liked it, not as good as Grisham but worth a read! "
— Lindsay, 12/24/2013" The second in the modern suspense stories, this one is set in Louisiana, and a Buchanan must protect the woman who saved his life. Great characters and dialogue. SUPER STORY!!!! "
— Joene, 12/7/2013" Great book, the lovers are mature, know what they want and no pretense. Excelent, I highly recomend. "
— Cindy, 10/5/2013" Really kept my interest. Interesting love/mystery. "
— Kathie, 5/28/2013" Entertaining - listened to it and enjoyed it. Maybe a little too "romance" genre. "
— Margaret, 4/26/2013" Like all of Julie Garwood's books I LOVED IT! I got completly wrapped up in the characters, too bad the book had to end! "
— Brittany, 1/10/2013" This has been one of my favorites of the Buchanans so far. The ending was a little abrupt for my taste but still the story had me in suspense and laughing my way through. "
— R*beth*h, 11/16/2012" Okay a bit of a slow start. I really enjoyed to banter between Theo, Mike, and Noah... "
— Jill, 10/5/2012" As good as the 1st one. I love the characters, the action and the suspense. A must read. "
— Glenda, 5/14/2012" I enjoyed the humorous parts of this book along with the romance and mystery. Everyone in town calling the hero coach "
— Gjbates, 4/18/2012" This one was good, but I preferred Heartbreaker. The romance took a larger role in this book, and it seemed a little forced. Still a good read, but I was hoping it would be more like the first one in the series. "
— Christine, 2/24/2012" This book is a quick read. I liked it, but it isn't brain food. I would recommend it for a plane or beach trip though. The characters are likable and interesting and the story has a couple of twists. It will keep you interested. "
— Amy, 1/27/2012" I really liked the book setting and even though, unlike his brothers, Theo doesn't know how to use a gun, he has his charm too. "
— melody, 8/14/2011" I liked this as a change from Fowler's quilting mystery series. "
— Kathleen, 2/26/2011" Loved it. Hope she continues the series. "
— Butterfly181964, 11/23/2010" I enjoy Fowler's books because of their connection with quilting. This book was a departure--a stand-alone book about new characters, although she did work her regular characters into the story in minor parts. A feel-good, easy read. "
— Carole, 10/5/2010" Pleasant but I wanted something deeper and not so easily resolved. "
— Bev, 7/29/2010" This is to be the first of a new series. I've read several of her Benni Harper mysteries and thought this was another one. Interesting, though oddly named characters. "
— Sara, 6/10/2010" This is a new series Earlene Fowler has started with new characters, and some of the old ones in the background. I like her books, they are good clean reading. "
— Waggonerdebbie, 6/1/2010" A lovely heart-wrenching tale of a grandmother and her granddaughter. It is set in the Benni Harper world in 2008, but does not have Benni as a main character. "
— Amy, 3/21/2010" I always enjoy Earlene Fowler books. I've read all the Benni Harper books. So far, this is a good book. "
— Sharon, 1/1/2010" I enjoyed this book. It reminds me of Elziabeth Berg because it was about relationships. This was about women and their different kinds of relationships. I hope there are more books about Love Mercy. "
