"I liked the relationship between Lucy and Sean and how it progresses slowly. Sean went very gently with her due to her history, which I think was covered in one of the earlier Allison Brennan books that I haven't read. I think a lot of Allison Brennan books link together with characters from one going into others, but I decided to start here since it was the first one where Lucy Kincaid was the main character"

" I liked this book, it was fun to read and I liked the characters. There were some points in the book where determining who was speaking was tough and you had to wait for the que but overall it was a book I liked. "

" May contain a spoiler. 3 stars just because I finished it, and even though I knew she would be ok, I found myself rushing to read on. Had some of the intensity of a James Patterson The solo anonymous diabolical observer. A great treat, considering I have a growing list of stopped in the middle books. Why not 5 stars. The flowers. They should have double ID'd who sent the flowers. I find it detracting to make such a blatant mistake which I saw at the time Same as in grade c horror films. Nevertheless I kept rushing to read on to see the details Anyway thanks Allison Brennan for the surprise read. It was my introduction to your work. "

Lucy had a horrific experience in one of Allison's other books and it was great to see her get a chance to move on with her life and for us to get to experience it.
