"The Bible was not written by Anonymous. It was written by God through his disciples, many of whose names we know. For example, we know know that some books of the Old Testament were written by Moses, King Solomon, and King David. Some of the New Testament books were written by Matthew, Mark, James, John, Luke, and Paul. We know other authors as well."

" I can't find any cross references that support what this book says, and the multiple authors constantly seem to contradict themselves. Fun to read about an angry pissed off old guy killing a ton of people simply because they're not Jewish, and the sex scenes can be fun, albeit filled with remorse and guilt. "

" Read it twice. Enjoyable only for its poetic, 'King James English' language. But all-in-all, just plain silliness written by desert-dwelling savages who believed in talking snakes, virgin births, human sacrifice, slavery, polygamy, and the sanctioned murder of sodomites (not that there's anything wrong with that). " The old testament is really boring except for psalms and some bits like jonah and the whale and the coat of many colors, King Solomon and other characters of note in our western mythology. On the whole it reads better than the Koran - really boring. The new testament must be read by everyone who lives in a Christian culture. Jesus and the whole story is fascinating. The different accounts of his life and teaching reveal much about perspectives and renditions. The end of the Bible is quite odd and terrifying. There are more interesting books around these days. "

" Though the language a bit old, this is my second English version of Holy bible. I liked how the word structures was classic and personally I think it is beautiful. The minuses on inaccurate translation happens on every bible, so I satisfied with it. "

" Many other translations can mislead it's reader at times, not the King James Bible. It is one of the most accurate Bible translation there is today. As a christian author i must have The King James Bible when i am writing God's word. "
