In Jesus, the One and Only, Beth Moore introduces you to an intimate God in an up-close and personal portrait of the life of Jesus the Messiah.
This is far more than just a work on the life of Christ. Jesus, the One and Only is a romance, and you are invited to become part of it. As He has done in the past, God will use Beth's words to woo you into falling in love with Jesus of Nazareth.
Come to know Christ personally. Watch and listen as He breaks up a funeral by raising the dead, confronts conniving religious leaders of His day, teaches on a Galilean hillside, or walks on the waves and calms the storm. Like a ragtag band of followers nearly two thousand years ago, you will not be the same.

"This is my primary during my bible study group. We got to study this right before Easter so it was pretty good timing. But it was not the 'timing' I'm talking about here. It is a very 'close-look' book that studies Jesus in person in-depth. How would you imagine Jesus as? How tall, his skin color, his hair type, his body build, eyes color, his clothing style? By learning through the historical facts and geological facts of when and where Jesus lived - probably not many of us would want to get to know Him in first place if we ever met Him, before we HEAR Him talking. Talks about His passions to us, His cares, His minds and His determinations and His wonderful works. Man... you OUGHT to read this and find yourself to be on your way to want to be more like Him."

" You will fall in love all over again with the Savior. With the in depth meaning of the original languages, Beth takes you even deeper into the love that Jesus has for us. Highly recommended. "
— Linda, 2/17/2014" Made me love Jesus more! "
— Shirley, 2/13/2014" I read the book and did the workbook. The author causes for much introspection. "
— Hope, 1/25/2014" Recommendation from a sister to read this. Beth Moore's writing isn't my style generally. It's a little too girl-friendish for my taste. BUT..I enjoyed the content a lot. I found myself thinking a lot about the images she evoked of the birth of Christ. "
— Kate, 1/23/2014" Second best to hearing Beth Moore speak, is reading her words. I read this in 2006, and really began to see more clear what Christ did for us much more preciously after reading this book. I learned so much, because Beth is rich in History and background. My biggest 'want' from an author is, did they do research? All of Beth Moore's books have so much of her heart in them, her love for the Word, and for Christ. Awesome book! "
— Kelli, 1/17/2014" It was a good look at the Gospel of Luke. "
— Stacy, 1/12/2014" Perfect for personal Bible study or daily devotions. Each chapter closes in on a scene or chapter of Luke's Gospel. Sometimes I feel like I read familiar passages of the Bible too quickly. This book helped me slow down and see what was happening and reflect on it. "
— Lisa, 12/21/2013" Can't go wrong with Beth Moore - truly inspirational! "
— Sharlotte, 12/14/2013" I reread this book every year at Easter. It has been a blessing to refocus my thoughts on Jesus. "
— Damon/robin, 11/8/2013" The study was so amazing. I would suggest doing the study over just reading the book if anyone is trying to decide one or the other. It goes much deeper and engages you in the learning process as with all of Beth Moore's studies. "
— Jenni, 10/22/2013" I usually like Beth Moore's books but this one wasn't a favorite. "
