"This was a book that I probably never would have picked up on my own. My mom brought it to me while I was in the hospital. I thought it was very very good. It kept me reading right to the last pages. This author is new to me and I'm happy to read that there are two other books in this series."

Rick Mofina is a former crime reporter and the award-winning author of several acclaimed thrillers. He has interviewed murderers face-to-face on death row and patrolled with the Los Angeles Police Department and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. His novels have won the Barry Award and twice won the Crime Writers of Canada Award of Excellence, as well as having been finalists several times for the Thriller Award and Shamus Award.
