About Lauren Tarshis
Lauren Tarshis was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the author of Emma-Jean Lazarus Fell Out of a Tree, Emma-Jean Lazarus Fell in Love, and the I Survived series. She is also an editorial director for language arts at Scholastic, the editor of Storyworks magazine, and oversees Scope magazine. Her title, I Survived the Destruction of Pompeii 79 AD made the New York Times bestseller list in 2014.

Jennifer Bronstein is originally from Los Angeles, California. She earned her BFA degree in theater from the Meadows School for the Arts at SMU in Dallas, Texas. Her television credits include roles on NBC’s Chuck and Fox’s The OC. Among her audiobook narrations are several titles by Carolyn Hart.
