When Jeremy Camp lost his beloved wife, Melissa, just months after their wedding, the last thing he wanted to do was sing praise to God. But even as he struggled through unimaginable grief and fought to hold on to his faith, God had other plans: Pick up your guitar. I have something for you to write.

Jeremy obeyed, pouring out his heart, writing about the hope that God was still there, even in his deepest grief. The song he wrote that day, “I Still Believe,” has gone on to inspire millions around the world.

This is the story behind that song and the movie that was inspired by it. It’s an inside look at Jeremy’s life—from his difficult childhood and teenage years to the tragic passing of Melissa and the spiritual journey that followed, which inspired some of his best-loved songs and led him, eventually, to find love again. I Still Believe is a powerful heart-wrenching book about the strength of undying love and the power of faith.

" Listened to I Still Believe by Jeremy Camp. This book has been so inspirational for me I loved it. It is amazing what God can to with the lives of people. It takes a lot of courage and faith. I am so in love with Jeremy and now just reading his story I have so much compassion for him and am more in love with him. He has gone through so much and still belive's in God. That what makes this book a 5 star and a 10. "

" I was interested to pick this up because I've enjoyed Jeremy Camp's music for several years and never knew the whole story about his first wife's battle with cancer (having never been to a concert and not listening to CCM radio, I guess). This was more than an interesting biography, though, it was a very hopeful little tome about living with the sickness and passing of a loved one, and living one's life after a huge loss. I especially appreciated the Scripture notations in the footnotes for further reference when something was mentioned in passing. Very glad I read this, and would recommend it to anyone struggling in their Christian walk or dealing with a monumental loss. "
