Publisher Description

Despite the success of his first solo show in Paris and the support of his brilliant French wife and young daughter, thirty-four-year-old British artist Richard Haddon is too busy mourning the loss of his American mistress to appreciate his fortune. But after Richard discovers that a painting he originally made for his wife, Anne, has sold, it shocks him back to reality and he resolves to reinvest wholeheartedly in his family life - just in time for his wife to learn the extent of his affair. Rudderless and remorseful, Richard embarks on a series of misguided attempts to win Anne back while focusing his creative energy on a provocative art piece to prove that he's still the man she once loved.

About Sam Devereaux

Sam Devereaux is a third generation actor. Most of his childhood was spent tucked into the wings of West End theaters watching his dad perform or glued to the television exploits of his famous Australian grandfather. In addition to steady stage work, Sam has worked in voice-overs throughout his career. Starting off with dry corporate fare and progressing to the focused lunacy of his role as the title character in the hit adult cartoon Future Duck, Sam has developed into a flexible and highly focused voice-over actor. Audiobooks seemed the next logical step and Sam gets enormous pleasure from the intimacy of reading a story into a microphone. Whether it’s a weighty historical text or the sort of fantastical children’s book he reads every night to his kids, Sam just loves to tell a really good story.
