After receiving a compliment about her looks from a high-powered woman in the fashion industry, Lily obsesses over becoming a model, setting her sights on winning the “model search” fashion show. "This book (and the following ones in the series) were a key part of my personal growth during my pre-teen years. I'm not sure if it would still relate well to the young girls of modern society but I would definitely suggest it to any girl in the 5th-6th grade age range!"

" I liked it until the end - I think the author just went toofar to try and prove her point. She could have done it in a lot of other, more believeable ways. But God is throughout the book, so it's a good recommendation for anyone looking for a clean, realistic fiction with faith. "
