Where does a person find God when life is spinning out of control?
Ryan Coe feels lost. Her marriage is over, her kids are living with their dad, her God-life is silent, and her patience is practically nonexistent. To top it off, her once exciting job as a photojournalist has been reduced to taking pictures of enchilada festivals and B-level actors. But when she arrives at the scene of a crime and sees her son’s face through her zoom lens, her world crashes. Her only mission: to find out who really did this and why they framed her.
But before she can help anyone. Ryan’s got to get her anger in check. She turns to Sullivan Crisp’s Healing Choices clinic, but even that doesn’t go according to plan. Quirky and unusual don’t even begin to describe Sully, and Ryan soon realizes he isn’t the quick-fix therapist she was hoping for. Between his unorthodox counseling and a group of women who are the first real friends she’s had in a long time, Ryan begins to realize it’s not control she’s looking for, but something much more powerful.

"This is a great book that goes through some of the healing that happens or should happen after childhood pain or current tragedies. This was co-written by Stephen Arterburn of "New Life Live". I really liked it and thought it was well written. "

" really liked most of it. but the end was .. too perfect. i guess mebbe that's how christian novels go :\ that's disappointing. "
— Chanda, 10/11/2013" After starting and stopping reading this book. I tried again to start and couldn't stop. It starts slow, but is a good book. "
— Rachel, 9/24/2013" After reading the Sullivan Crisp series, I noticed all of the books are a very slow read until about the middle. If you can make it to the middle, they are really great books! "
— Emily, 8/12/2013" This was a can't-put-down read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. "
— Amy, 5/9/2013" I really am enjoying this series. The books have depth of feelings and emotions that seem to be lacking in many stories. "
— Tanya, 4/24/2013" I love the character of Sully. And I like the way this book doesn't hit you over the head with the Bible. "
— Jennifer, 4/12/2013" I could not put this book down! I loved this series! "
— Sue, 4/12/2013" I am a big fan of the Sullivan Crisp books, but this one was a little off for me. Healing Waters is my favorite so far. I was glad to see anger, from a wife and mother's perspective, addressed. "
— Heidi, 6/8/2012" Great mystery book with twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages. "
— Tina, 2/12/2012" Great. Enjoyed it. "
— Laura, 10/13/2011" This was a great book that I could not put down. I could really relate to Lucia! "
— Sue, 3/20/2011" christian fiction, very predictable and not that well written. topics of faith healing, addiction, eating disorders, kidnapping "
— Shelia, 1/2/2011" A forgettable book, with a plot that seemed a bit too contrived.

The book also tries to help you understand how a therapist works, and goes over actual therapy sessions, which seemed odd. "
— Lisa, 10/11/2010" This book was really good, though at first it didn't catch my inner reader, as you go through the book it really takes ya in! Was a great read! "
— Jessica, 9/20/2010" This book of fiction touched on many subjects that women face. An excellent story of redemption and learning also to forgive yourself in the process. Healing Waters is indeed healing. "
— Vivian, 8/20/2010" I had never read this author, but really enjoyed it. It had mystery, thoughts on religion and recovering and handling life. It was a great read. "
— Jodi, 3/5/2010" Pretty intense book but once I got through it I really enjoyed it. "
