"I was so excited to read Going There, as I enjoy pop culture and reading about the day-to-day happenings in the entertainment industry. Couric shares a lot of very personal info: about her struggle with husband Jay’s colon cancer, struggles at CBS News and Today, and even intimate details of her sex life (which I thought were a little much!). I did listen with interest about Lauer's indiscretions and extra-marital escapades, but wonder how, if they were as close a Couric claims in the book, how did she not know? At any rate, Couric does a great job of narrating her story and I thought her book was well written. I did feel like she used the f-bomb more times than were necessary, not because I'm a prude, but because they felt forced and unnecessary."
