Meet Dallas O’Connor, fashion stylist for the premier retail establishment in Texas, The Store. In her debut case, savvy Dallas discovers that in the back-stabbing business of fashion, jealousy and revenge are suddenly in vogue.

At 5:45 a.m., Dallas has nothing more on her mind than making coffee and prepping the final day’s shooting for the summer catalogue. But the surreal display that greets her on the set—a dead super model, and a wild-eyed, knife-wielding stranger—isn’t her idea of a great spread. And when Raul takes off, the police peg Dallas as their number one suspect. Now, Dallas must throw herself into an investigation that exposes the seamy underside of the fashion biz in order to clear her name.

" It wasn't that it took forever for a crime be committed. It was that I either didn't care about or actively disliked every single character I encountered in the first hour of the audio book.

There are too many books I want to read to waste my time with 'people' I don't care about. "
