"This is the first book I have read by this author and I loved it. I read this in one day as I wanted to see what all Dallas was going to do. The characters are all so unique and funny. This book was hysterical and I wanted more. I look forward to reading the other books in this series. "

Quotes

  • “Trendy and wisecracking, Dallas O’Connor is a delightful sleuth. Ms. Green, an insider in the Texas fashion world, has created a hip, believable scenario that will amuse and entertain.”

    — RT Book Reviews
  • “In spite of several corpses and Dallas’ own brush with death, this story is more funny than frightening and will reward readers with several prickly puzzles and some really good laughs.”

    — Publishers Weekly
  • “Matches the high style of its predecessor…With Green’s own fashion-industry experience lending an air of wacky authenticity to the proceedings, this series is likely to stay in style for quite a while.”

    — Booklist
  • “High camp, Women’s Wear Daily–style, with an insider’s knowledge of how to rip out a necktie’s seams, iron it just so, and hand-stitch it to perfection—as well as enough toney brand names to fill the designer floor at Neiman’s.”
