Quotes & Awards

  • “Tara Sands narrates Meg Cabot’s novel, brilliantly capturing Allie’s emotional highs and lows. She reads in bubbly, chipper tones that speed up when Allie is excited, and emphasizes words to show Allie’s strong feelings. Sands perfectly modulates her voice to portray the different characters. Highly recommended.”

    School Library Journal

  • “Fine-tuned to the nuances of human relations and self-justification, Cabot creates another eminently readable, first-person narrative…Readers will feel Allie’s strong, if mixed, emotions right up to the satisfying ending.”
