" Have never read any of his books before, but was a fan of the show Ghost Whisperer. I am one that is not completely skeptical, but was not raised to believe that people can see/speak to the dead. Over the years, the subject has fascinated me but have never attended a reading. I find many of the aspects of the book interesting, but am definitely a "see it to believe it" type person. "

" A quick and enjoyable read (if you are interested in this sort of thing, of course). It's not so much whether I believe everything he has to say about the after-life -- it's more that I like to see a view of life from a perspective that is so unique. I don't doubt Van Praagh's abilities (my own life experience makes this possible for me). Also, personally, I believe life continues. It does make me think -- just as each of us percieve this life in our own particular way, so each of us will see the after-life from our own perspectives. "

He goes into a little new agey weird stuff like how to do a protection spell on yourself etc. I skimmed through a lot of this book but the stories of contacts with ghosts were interesting, but not very detailed.
