A best-selling author of books for adults and children, Mark Childress pens his most outrageous work yet with Georgia Bottoms. The titular heroine is the epitome of the church-going Southern belle, except for one teeny-tiny aspect of her life. Georgia's family inheritance has long since evaporated, and to maintain her genteel lifestyle, Miss Bottoms has taken six affluent lovers-the fly in the ointment being that one is a married preacher who's about to reveal their infidelity to the whole congregation.

"It took me less than 24 hours to read this book! From the time I picked it up I couldn't put it down. There were some slower parts but the book was so funny and kept me entertained the entire time. I found it to be very realistic too--you never know what goes on in small towns in the South! "

— Kathy, 5/24/2011" A fun weekend read for the lake or beach. "
— Sheridan, 5/20/2011" The book starts off good, but it takes a whole different turn that you aren't expecting and it just isn't a good one. "
— Angie, 5/19/2011" My favorite quote was, "Georgia ran her hand along the silky wood of the pew, worn smooth by generations of Bottoms." "
— Amanda, 5/18/2011" Loved it! Georgia, despite her unorthodox life wins you over with her loyalty to family. If you are looking for something humorous, fun, and just slightly outrageous, I highly recommend GEORGIA BOTTOMS. "
— Lorelle, 5/15/2011" I love it when a woman is strong and doesn't let the world dictate her! Rock on Georgia! "
