From the Hollywood Hills to the streets of Barcelona, from lush vineyards and wineries to the most exclusive homes in Europe, let Elizabeth Adler take you on a journey with a story that will hold you spellbound.
Bibi Fortunata was the hottest ticket in town: singer, actress, and celebrity. Two years ago she was arrested on suspicion of murdering her lover and his new mistress, who was also Bibi’s best friend.
Bibi was front-page news in a way her publicists had never dreamed of. But the police were never able to prove anything and she was set free, with the cloud of suspicion and murder still hanging over her. Bibi left for Barcelona where she quite simply disappeared.
But when Bibi’s daughter comes to private investigators Mac Reilly and Sunny Alvarez for help, they can’t resist the temptation to solve this mystery once and for all. Who really killed Bibi’s lover? Who would want to frame Bibi? And who is beckoning them from Barcelona?
Filled with Adler’s trademark lush descriptions, twisty plots, and decadent luxury, From Barcelona, with Love will transport you.

"A fitting ending for this trilogy. I love the characters of Mac and Sunny, their love story, their little beach cottage in Malibu, and their feuding dogs. This book takes Mac to Barcelona and into the life of his first love, threatening his and Sunny's relationship. Fun read!"

“Adler’s fun fourth romantic thriller featuring TV star and PI Mac Reilly and PR firm owner and gifted cook Sunny Alvarez…This summer smoothie goes down in one great gulp of easy reading.”
— Publishers Weekly“Carrington MacDuffie’s nicely modulated, expressive, and accent-free voice clearly and distinctly portrays multiple characters in this easy story.”
— Library Journal, audio review“As frolicsome as a champagne-stocked private jet, Adler’s sexy, scintillating caper is a frothy addition to the Mac Reilly series.”
— Booklist“In a few short pages, Adler uses beach chic, summer breezes, lots of champagne, and the passionate gaze that drew her most famous couple together to create a climactic scene full of promise.”
— Bookreporter.com" Adler writes a very entertaining romantic mystery. "
— Harry, 2/14/2014" Quick easy read that involved no thought. Wouldn't go out of my way to read another book in the series (and it doesn't matter that I read number 4 first). just a meh kind of book. "
— Tyra, 2/4/2014" I enjoyed this book. I really like Elizabeth Adler and this series of books. There were some very surprising twists and I loved them. I recommend reading the other books in the Mac Reilly series first, though. The chapters are short so I find the reading quick. "
— Robyn, 1/20/2014" I love Elizabeth Adler's series with Mac and Sunny. This is probably the last of the series. you'll have to read them all to find out why as I don't want to give the plot away! "
— Good, 1/19/2014" Really good. You need to read this one Jan. "
— Linda, 1/18/2014" What the heck? I ususally love Adler's books. They read like exotic travelogues with mystery and romance thrown in. This was completely flat in all respects. The story never took off - it took at least 150 pages before anything happened and then it still fizzled. The characters did not develop, the mystery was a tiny side show and the romance was half-hearted. Mac and Sunny (characters from previous books) were so boring this time! The whole thing just felt like there was little effort put into its creation. Very disappointing. "
— MomtoKippy, 1/16/2014" Nothing to special but, a nice mystery with beautiful descriptions of foreign countries. "
— Karin, 1/15/2014" Cute, light book. Good story with mystery, travel, food and fashion. She writes a fun travel mystery romance novel. "
— Judy, 1/14/2014" Definitely an escapist book. Paloma's mother, Bibi, is set up for a double murder. So she runs away and leaves Paloma with her family. When the step father threatens to sue for custody of Paloma, and control of her money, the family then decides to find Bibi. Would definitely make a beach book. "
— Carmen, 1/7/2014" could not finish it ; was so trite. "
— Judy, 12/30/2013" OK but not a real page turner. "
— Catherine, 12/26/2013" Just got back from Barcelona and happened upon this book at the library. Wanted to read it just to remember all the great places I had just visited. The story was okay; not great and not terrible. I did like the description of the locations. "
— Tamlyn, 12/9/2013" Would be an OK beach or airplane book. "
— Mls3, 11/23/2013" Really like Elizabeth Adler novels. This one did not disappoint. Fast reading hard to pt down. "
— Judy, 11/12/2013" I did not finish this book, the novel did not capture my interest and I didn't care for Adler's writing style. "
— Joy, 10/14/2013" A quick delightful read, that was a little heavy on the romance, a little light on the plot. A beach read, or in my case afternoon out under the tree on the chaise read. Strong (ish) woman character's seemed like everyone was looking for the man who completed them, not my favorite style. "
— Linda, 7/11/2013" This was another in the Mac Reilly/Sunny Alvarez series. It was good, but I wasn't totally satisfied with the evidence in the mystery. A nice, summer read for those who like this particular soap opera. "
— Emily, 6/23/2013" This was a "read it and forget it" story. I've read some of the previous books about Mac Reilly and Sunny Alvarez and enjoyed them. Especially liked reading about Barcelona, a beautiful place I enjoyed visiting. "
— Judy, 1/7/2013" Easy read good story. "
— Liz, 10/16/2012" liked how the characters all connected in someway. Somewhat predictable, with a happy ending. "
— Shelley, 5/25/2012" wanted something light to read, but this was almost too light, a nothing book, anti-climactic "
— Lori, 4/12/2012" love these books. Just got this today, didn't know she had a new one. She's continuing her investigative character whom I love. This will be an easy read. Really enjoyed it. "
— Diane, 10/17/2011" Third book with the same characters from Elizabeth Adler. I love her books, the plot got a little lost at the end, but I still enjoyed it. I love the locations. "
— Barb, 8/25/2011" I agree with everyone here. kept me entertained for a few hours while recovering from some kind of bug "
— Jan, 7/31/2011" This is the 3rd narrator in 4 books ... I wasn't a fan of her reading of this book. I might have liked it more had I actually read it. "
